New build painting on Marine Parade, New Brighton
A complete interior and exterior paint package for a new two-storey home right on the New Brighton beachfront.
Outside, the mix of white-painted weatherboards, natural cedar cladding and a dark-stained timber entry gives the house its coastal look. Inside, each room has its own colour: warm rust in the main bedroom, deep sage green in the living room, soft cream in the smaller bedrooms and a pale mint down the hallway.
We were on site from the scaffold stage through to handover: priming and top-coating the new weatherboards and trims, staining the timber entry, then moving inside once the linings were stopped. The exposed beachfront position called for exterior coatings chosen to handle salt air and strong sun.
The main focus of this job:
A weather-tight exterior finish that will stand up to a beachfront location, and clean, confident colour blocking inside so each room feels distinct.
