A full interior paint finish for a new architectural home in Mairehau.
The palette is bold and moody: deep olive walls and ceilings through the living spaces and bedrooms, a rich rust-toned lounge, and a curved slatted feature wall that wraps the dining area in near-black.
We came in once the new wall linings were up and worked room by room: sealing and sanding the plasterboard, finishing the doors and slatted panels to a smooth, even coat, then brushing and rolling the walls and ceilings in low sheen. Every colour change was cut in by hand so the dark tones meet the white plaster with a crisp line.
The main focus of this job:
Getting flawless, even coverage on large areas of dark colour, where every roller mark and patch would show, and a perfectly smooth sprayed finish on the slatted feature wall and doors.
